The Occupational Health Doctor is responsible for understanding, and implementing all safety protocol, including local, state and federal laws, keeping detailed records of any violations or accidents, creating strategic and preventative methods of work, as well as focusing on employee safety; Provide health consultation for team members according with primary attention, first aid and preventive medicine, this position will be designed as medical responsible for Health authorities.General Responsibilities
• Manages the implementation of the organization's health and safety policy and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment
• Ensuring that the organization complies with all current and future regulations and laws
• Manage a team of safety professionals who conduct safety audits to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, or working conditions
• Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with specialists and health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence
• Recommend changes to working conditions to ensure all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organization complies with all regulations and laws, and internal safety policies and standards
• Educate and train the organization's workforce on health and safety to ensure they understand and comply with the health and safety policies and standards
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
