Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with the supervision of the daily activities of the Health Services Clinic, staff, and all ill or injured employees while being attended to in the Health Services.
Assist with following correct procedures for collecting post-offer/pre-placement and random drug screens, and when responding to any report of reasonable suspicion for drug/alcohol use.
Assist in performing preliminary medical assessments of all prospective new hires, re-hires, and program participants.
Assists in health and wellness programs, including the Influenza Vaccine Program, Hepatitis B Program, Health Fairs, and Health/Wellness education.
Performs maintenance of an up-to-date Workers’ Compensation Program, OSHA Reporting System, and HIPAA Compliance.  Acts as a resource for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) related issues.
Performs case management duties related to Workers' Compensation, Modified Duty Program. Maintain the OSHA 300 Log and the Incident Log for the Company.
Assists in administering and processing all the necessary reports and forms pertinent to the management of all work-related injuries, especially those requiring claim management by our Workers’ Compensation Insurance Company.
Acts as a lead member of the Safety Committee and assists in the management of an aggressive Safety and Workers' Compensation Program.
Continually keeps knowledge current and up to date regarding any changes in the laws or statutes of Worker’s Compensation, OSHA Reporting System, HIPAA, Family Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Assists or performs staff training/certification in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), Basic First Aid at Work, HIPAA, Family Medical Leave Act, and Drug and Substance Alcohol Awareness.
Assists the Health Services Manager with any tasks or projects as requested.
Maintains the medical privacy/confidentiality (HIPAA Compliance) of all individuals and records at all times.
All other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a COHN (Certification in Occupational Health Nursing), or a CCM (Certification in Case Management) is desirable.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in Employee Health or Occupational Health; assisting with Worker’s Compensation Case Management, OSHA reporting requirements, HIPAA, FMLA/ADA administration, accident investigation/ prevention, and data entry.
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel is required.
Licenses and Certifications
Current Florida RN License
CPR Certification.
Working knowledge of Industrial Health and Safety Practices
