As a team we are responsible for corporate Environmental Health and Safety policies. Currently we are looking for a colleague for the position of Occupational Health and Safety Expertise Manager. Do you get energized fromglobally aligning EHS practices and setting the standards?
As an EHS Expertise Manager you will be responsible for managing multiple EHS competences for example; control of hazardous energy, ergonomics, confined space, mechanical lifting, working at heights by creating processes, standards and reporting mechanisms on corporate level that apply for our worldwide operations. You will work in close collaboration with the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment competence center and process owners.
You will:
Work in the corporate EHS team and collaborate closely with the sectors such as: D&E, SS&P, Manufacturing, R&R, P&D, CS and CRE. For this you will have interfaces with the relevant EHS managers and EHS Experts.
Interface with managers/ directors relevant for corporate EHS; Collaborate with various departments and sectors with high diversity of activities.
Formulate standards and after approval guide implementation and monitor deployment.
Translate policies, standards and regulations to business situations to control risks; Interpret and apply policies to come to optimal solution for the business needs.
Establishes EHS standards, practices and policies.
Owns and develops EHS technical competence areas (e.g., Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, Hazardous Materials), including building training frameworks and maintaining strong internal and external networks.
Drives and improves EHS processes and culture by managing core processes (e.g., Incident & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audits, Sustainability Reporting) and leading global improvement initiatives and projects.
Bachelor or Master's degree in occupational Health and Safety, holds at minimum HVK, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
Substantial, progressive working experience, minimal 5 years, in several EHS work areas in technical industry, consultancy or national government
Experience in working for a globally operating company
Solid experience across different EHS disciplines
Proven track record on stakeholder management

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset, fostering teamwork and aligning stakeholders in situations of conflicting perspectives.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, inspiring others and enhancing collaboration across global EHS expert communities.
High level of personal effectiveness, showing accountability, reliability, and an energetic, results-driven mindset.
