Compensation: $10.00 - $13.00 / hour

We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Harvest, AL 35749

A lovely family near Midgard Storage is seeking an occasional babysitter for their happy 4-month-old, for an immediate start. The family is looking for backup care on an as-needed basis, primarily on Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Care requests may range from a few hours to a full-day shift within that time frame, depending on the family's needs. The family can typically provide at least one week's notice before care is needed. Candidates do not need to be available for every request but should understand that this is an intermittent position with no guaranteed weekly or monthly hours. The ideal caregiver will be dependable, nurturing, and experienced in providing attentive care to infants.

Responsibilities

  • Diaper changing
  • Bottle feeding
  • Introducing and feeding solid foods when age-appropriate
  • Engaging the child in age-appropriate play
  • Facilitating nap times

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of paid professional infant care experience
  • CPR certified, or willing to become certified
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
  • Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening

Compensation

This position pays $10-$13 per hour, and the family is looking for intermittent care, as needed.
