Pulse Healthcare is urgently seeking a skilled Band 7 Obstetric Sonographer to support our client in Sheffield. This is an exciting ongoing opportunity for a highly experienced professional who specialises in obstetric scanning, working every Monday and Friday from 08:00 to 18:00.
This role is well-suited for sonographers who hold the required obstetric accreditations and can deliver consistently high-quality care in a busy hospital setting.
Perform a full range of obstetric ultrasound scans to the highest clinical standards.
Produce accurate, detailed imaging reports in line with professional and departmental protocols.
Ensure the highest level of patient care, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
Liaise effectively with consultants, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to support patient pathways.
Maintain compliance with all governance, safeguarding, and professional standards.
HCPC registration (Required)
Minimum 6 months NHS experience as a Sonographer.
Specialist experience in Obstetric ultrasound scanning
Band 7 level (or equivalent).
CASE Accreditation (required).
DQASS Registration (required).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently within a busy environment.
