JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: 103103 Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Issaquah, WA 98029 Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinic + Call Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 – Ongoing Shift/Call Schedule: 2 options Clinic only: 10-15 shifts per month Mon-Fri: 7a-3p/8a-7p (40 hrs weekly) Call only: In-house (14-21 shifts per month) Mon-Thurs: 7a-7p/7p-7a Fri-Sat: 7p-8a Sun-Mon: 8p-7a Call Response Time: 20 mins Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: Clinic: 20 In-house Call: 7 Rounding: Both Case Mix: Obstetrics, GYN, Surgical GYN FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Beds in Dept: 32 Support Staff: 7 RNs, 13 MAs, 6 APPs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required Low & high Risk Pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE Level I/Screening (viability) Routine & complicated Deliveries VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/Minor GYN JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: WA or IMLC DEA: Active Certifications: BLS Fellowship: Preferred Duties & Responsibilities In-house Call: Provide in-house call coverage for OBGYN services Manage low and high risk pregnancies, including routine and complicated deliveries Perform surgical procedures such as C-sections, laparoscopies, and gynecologic surgeries Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE) Provide emergency care for obstetrical complications including abruptions, multiple births, and VBACs Clinic: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in an outpatient clinic setting. Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including prenatal care and postpartum follow-up. Perform routine gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopy, and LEEP. Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE). Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
