JOB OVERVIEW

FACILITY INFORMATION

  • EMR System: EPIC

  • Nursery Level: II

  • Office Equipment Available: Hospital Labor and Delivery equipment; onsite labs & ultrasound

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (can be expedited)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Routine Delivery – Vaginal, Low Forceps

  • Decision-Making for C-Section

  • Complicated Delivery – C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions

  • VBAC's

  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC

  • Licenses: KY or IMLC

  • DEA: Active

  • Certifications: BLS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide on-call coverage for OBGYN emergencies

  • Perform routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, forceps, C-section)

  • Manage labor and delivery triage and admissions

  • Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

  • Collaborate with midwives and nursing staff
