Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Barry Road currently seeking a Full-Time OB Technologist for nights.

Shift:

  • 3 12 hour night shifts 6:45PM to 7:15AM per week
  • weekend and holiday shift requirements
  • Surgical scrub tech experience preferred. Certified scrub tech (CST) candidates preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • OB Technician within the organizational structure of the Labor and Delivery area assists in delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.
  • Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
  • The OB Tech provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • The OB Tech individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs.
  • The OB Tech collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
  • The OB Tech assumes a multiskilled role performing clinical and clerical functions that serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team.
