Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly
CMC’s Labor & Delivery/OB Team is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Certified Childbirth Educator to provide evidence-based care and compassionate support to our communities expectant parents and families. This role prepares individuals and families for pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and early parenting while promoting informed decision-making, healthy birth outcomes, and positive family experiences. The Certified Childbirth Educator delivers instruction through engaging environments such as group classes, individual sessions, virtual platforms, and community outreach initiatives; while fostering confidence and inclusive family-centered care.

Preferred Education/
Experience: Willing to train the right candidate!
- Experience teaching childbirth or perinatal education classes
- Background in healthcare, public health, education, nursing, or midwifery
- Experience with virtual or hybrid education platforms
- Knowledge of evidence-based maternity care practices
Preferred Certificates and Licenses:
- Current certification as a Childbirth Educator from a recognized organization (e.g., Lamaze International, ICEA, CAPPA, BirthWorks). If not already certified, CMC is willing to train the right candidates
Benefits/Salary
Benefits Include: Not eligible for benefits but will receive Paid Sick Leave Accrual (.025/hr).
Pay/Grade Range: The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles’ duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education and experience.
