Job Description

At Chanel, our values are grounded in creating the conditions for people to perform at their best and feel fulfilled and confident in their work.

As part of the Future of Finance initiative, Chanel is deploying several transformation programs. The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across all our regions will harmonize multiple regional ERPs, while respecting our Divisional operating models and métier specificities, to create a standardized, single global core ERP model.

The O2C Transversal Process Lead drives strategic readiness, transformation coordination, and execution follow-up across the O2C landscape. Acting as a deputy and coordination partner to the GPO, the role connects O2C pillars, supports the bridge from Division to Market, and ensures key initiatives on POS, ECM … progress in an aligned and structured way.

Transversal by design, this role provides visibility on priorities, dependencies, risks, blockers, and decisions across workstreams. It works closely with Global Divisions, Transversal Programmes and continues to animate Downstream Supply Chain communication through DISCO, while each O2C pillar remains accountable for its functional and process deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • O2C Strategic Readiness and Transformation Coordination:
    • Drive O2C strategic readiness by structuring pre-readiness activities, defining critical milestones, and tracking progress across key transformation topics.
    • Act as the coordination lead for strategic initiatives and cross-programme dependencies, including POS, ECM and other initiatives impacting the O2C landscape.
    • Support the GPO in preparing and animating O2C transformation governance, readiness reviews, prioritisation discussions and execution follow-up across pillars.
    • Translate transformation priorities into clear action plans, timelines, ownership, decision points and follow-up routines to support disciplined delivery.
  • Cross-Pillar Alignment and Integration:
    • Orchestrate alignment across O2C pillars to ensure priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks and business impacts are consistently understood and managed.
    • Partner with Heads of O2C pillars to secure timely completion of GPL-related activities and connect pillar deliverables to broader transformation milestones.
    • Facilitate collaboration between streams by clarifying hand-offs, identifying overlaps, surfacing decision points and resolving or escalating potential blockers.
    • Create structured visibility on cross-pillar topics, ensuring that key risks, dependencies and decisions are documented, communicated and escalated at the right level.
    • Work closely with Global Divisions and transversal programmes to maintain a clear bridge between divisional priorities, market realities and global process design.
    • Continue to animate Downstream Supply Chain communication through DISCO, ensuring consistent messaging, transparent updates and visibility on transformation impacts.
  • Project Support and Execution Follow-Up:
    • Lead or coordinate selected transversal transformation projects across the O2C landscape, ensuring scope, ownership, deliverables and success criteria are clearly defined.
    • Maintain a consolidated view of risks, actions, blockers, decisions and escalation needs across workstreams to support proactive issue resolution.
    • Establish pragmatic progress tracking and follow-up routines to ensure transformation topics move forward with pace, discipline and accountability.
    • Support preparation for leadership discussions, readiness reviews and deployment decision-making by providing clear status updates, options, risks and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, APICS, PMP) are celebrated.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in O2C, Finance Operations or Global Solution deployment roles, preferably with an ERP.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365): Proven experience in D365 Finance and Operations, including hands-on configuration, workflow optimization, and integration with other systems.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage D365 data analytics and reporting tools to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and best practices for managing the O2C cycle, including order management, billing, and collections.
  • Language skills: English and Frech fluency

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
