About the Role

As O2C Export Project, Risk & Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliant, efficient, and high‑quality export operations within the Export Customer Care organisation. You will champion adherence to GxP, internal controls, and global quality standards—ensuring our products reach the right customers at the right time, every time.

This is a high‑impact position interfacing with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, IT, external partners, and global teams. You will help shape Opella’s future by simplifying processes, strengthening compliance, and enabling best‑in‑class O2C operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive adherence to GxP, Internal Controls and Global Quality Policy across Export Customer Care, ensuring full alignment with Opella CHC standards.
  • Lead Core Model and process governance: review processes, documentation, RACIs, and ensure consistent application of Good Distribution & Transport Practices.
  • Oversee internal & external audits: coordinate preparation, manage findings, perform root‑cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage month‑end closing activities for the Export Customer Care team, collaborating with Accounting and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, including process simplification, automation, and optimisation aligned with global standards.
  • Act as key user for export systems and tools, supporting testing, enhancements, and resolving operational issues.
  • Provide training and expertise to newcomers and stakeholders, ensuring processes, controls, and system practices are well understood and consistently applied.

Key Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end Order to Cash (O2C) processes, including export flows.
  • Proven knowledge of regulatory, compliance, customs, tax, and accounting rules relevant to international exports.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in International Trade, Transportation or Export Operations.
  • Hands-on SAP experience (S4 Hana preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical, structured problem-solver with strong business and financial acumen.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset, capable of engaging diverse internal and external stakeholders diplomatically.
