AX9 Security, Inc. is seeking dependable Unarmed Security Officers for a retail store located in Garden City, NY. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and customer-friendly environment. This assignment involves a standing post, monitoring store activity, supporting loss prevention efforts, and ensuring all site and client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong and visible security presence throughout the retail store

• Observe and report all unusual or suspicious activity

• Assist with loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor and store entrances

• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with customers, employees, and vendors

• Follow all AX9 Security and store-specific policies and protocols

• Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports

• Respond professionally to any disturbances or emergencies

• Maintain a polished, professional demeanor and uniform appearance

• Communicate effectively with the on-site team, supervisors, and account managers

• Must possess an active and updated NYS Guard Card

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to stand for long periods

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Previous retail security or loss prevention experience is a plus

• Must maintain a police-style professional appearance (white polo uniform)

• Must follow site protocols and remain attentive during entire shift

• Ability to remain calm and collected in high-traffic retail environments

• Must have reliable transportation to Garden City, NY
