About the Role
MSS Security is seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Global Data Centres. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of one of the world’s most advanced technology environments. You will be responsible for protecting people, assets, and sensitive information while maintaining compliance with strict security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the data centre, ensuring only authorised personnel enter secure areas.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and report any security risks or breaches.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems and other security technologies.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of security activities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to uphold security standards.
Support investigations and audits as required.
Mandatory Qualifications
NV1 Security Clearance
Valid Security Licence
Current Driver’s Licence
Preferred Skills & Experience
Previous experience in security operations, preferably in high-security or critical infrastructure environments.
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills in relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable with technology and security systems.
Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
Adaptability to change
