Help end hunger in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Nutrition Programs Coordinator within our Nutrition Department. The Nutrition Programs Coordinator is responsible for helping to coordinate and/or implement the USDA SUN Meals Program, the Leah’s Pantry Nutrition Pantry Program, and the Cooking Matters Program in varying capacity. The Nutrition Programs Coordinator may also serve as a support for other department programs.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate with SUN Meals site contacts, kitchen staff, drivers, volunteers, and NHFB teams to facilitate effective program operations.

· Complete weekly food orders for assigned SUN Meals Program kitchens and electronically distribute menus.

· Collect and review meal count sheets and temperature logs to ensure compliance with USDA guidelines

· Conduct in-person site monitoring activities and complete associated documentation.

· Maintain organized program records, including data entry and tracking

· Assist with teaching in-person and virtual Cooking Matters programming as needed.

· Create content for monthly nutrition program newsletters

· Support general administrative tasks that strengthen program operations across NHFB nutrition initiatives.

· Identify and recruit new partner agencies for program participation and volunteers to assist with program implementation

· Help to develop the strategic vision and implementation of nutrition programming and capacity building efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree public health, nutrition, food systems or related major preferred or 4 years of experience in a related field

• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred

• Experience with school nutrition programs preferred

• Valid driver’s license
