
JobThe Nursing Supervisor-RN, is responsible for the nursing care of patients in a designated unit on a designated shift. Works independently within a broad scope of established hospital and departmental policies and goals in rendering physical and supportive care and health teaching to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Safely manages the environment of care while providing services. Interacts appropriately with staff, physicians, and other departments in collaborative relationships to meet the needs of patient/families. Supervises and delegates appropriately to other licensed and non-licensed staff members in providing care to patients/families. Assists the Nursing Director in the overall management of nursing personnel, patient care unit, and the educational environment of the patient care unit. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.
