The Nursing Supervisor is accountable for overseeing nurse staffing and hospital operations on nights; plans organize, and supports staff to provide comprehensive patient care on all shifts; evaluates care and ensures customer satisfaction and quality outcomes; facilitates patient flow activities, provides leadership in clinical problem solving, and serves as patient advocate and physician liaison; maintains clinical skills and knowledge necessary to meet organizational standards.
Qualifications:
*ASN required
*BSN or Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred
*Within five (5) years of hire, and as a condition of continued employment, ASN nurse must earn a BSN Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or higher (i.e., Master's degree, MSN)
*Minimum of two (2) years of acute or long term acute care experience required
*Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
*Current CT RN license required
*Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required
*Current ACLS Certification or must obtain within eighteen (18) months of hire in position
WORK SCHEDULE: Per Diem, evenings including weekday, weekend and holiday coverage
