Nursing Supervisor - 7pm-7:30am
Nursing Supervisors coordinate and oversee all nursing unit activities during evening, night, weekend shifts as well as Holidays. They act in collaboration with Patient Care Services Directors. Represents Health Center Administration as necessary.

Responsibilities
Appropriately reassigns work and schedules personnel as needed or unusual or crises events., Assists and/or coaches staff members who exhibit novice knowledge and ability to complete tasks/duties.Appropriately reassigns work and schedules personnel as needed or unusual or crises events., Assures compliance with unit/department standards, policies, and procedures.Appropriately reassigns work and schedules personnel as needed or unusual or crises events., Collaborates and coordinates with staff for optimal patient flow., Demonstrates knowledge of Health Center policies and procedures regarding fire, safety and disaster. Coordinates implementation of same as appropriate., In collaboration with Director, actively pursues required knowledge and skills through orientation activities specific to the units, unit based in-service programs, reading current literature, seeking new clinical learning opportunities., Intervenes as appropriate for problem-solving and conflict resolution., Provides prompt and appropriate coaching. Documents action taken and reports to appropriate leadership in a timely manner.Appropriately reassigns work and schedules personnel as needed or unusual or crises events., Serves on Health Center committees, task forces.
Requirements
ADN (Required)ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support W/I 90 Days - Sarah Bush Lincoln, BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire. - Sarah Bush Lincoln, PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification - Sarah Bush Lincoln, RN-Registered Nurse - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
