• Collaborative Crusader: Join forces with our dynamic team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and other team members to ensure personalized treatment plans for our incredible students.
• Assessment Adventures: Embark on thrilling assessment journeys, delving deep into clients' medical histories and developmental needs to guide our path towards treatment planning.
• Medication Mastery: Channel your inner medicine maestro as you train staff to administer medications and perform minor interventions/treatments per a healthcare provider's order(s) with precision and care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
• Vigilant Vigilante: Provide oversight of our students' health at school.
• Family Champion: Assist the multidisciplinary team to support our students' families with the knowledge and skills they need to become champions of care, empowering them to support their child's journey.
• Alliance Architect: Collaborate with external healthcare providers such as pediatricians and specialists to ensure our students receive the seamless, integrated care they deserve.
• Documentation Expert: Harness your super-organizational skills to maintain meticulous records of our students' progress and treatment interventions, ensuring we stay on track.
• Team Trainer: Share your expertise with staff by providing healthcare-related trainings. Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure best healthcare practices.
Your Skills and Talents: A Winning Combination!
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in pediatric nursing, with a preference for experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive within an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, committed to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
• Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each client and their family, exhibiting empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
• Upholds confidentiality and professionalism while fostering a supportive and empowering environment for clients and colleagues alike.
