As a Nursing Professional Development Specialist, you will plan, implement and evaluate nursing orientation as well as the ongoing professional development of nurses at Martin North Hospital. Acting as a mentor to new caregivers, you will provide them with resources for their physical, mental, and educational needs for the duration of the residency program. You will also help build and design MyLearning programs to ensure nurses are receiving the proper education to set them up for success. An ideal candidate for this role should possess a unique combination of clinical expertise, teaching abilities and interpersonal skills as well as a passion for passing their knowledge on to a new generation of nurses.
