Job Description

Administers, coordinates and teaches education, simulation and onboarding orientation and transition to practice programs at various CentraCare Health entities as assigned while creating an environment that engages staff in ongoing learning, increasing clinical competence, professional practice, and critical thinking skills through the use of best practices at CentraCare Health entities. Provides patient and family centered care. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Willmar/Benson/Redwood Falls
  • Day shift | Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $92,934.20 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Salary range: $92,934.20 - $144,414.40 per year
    • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in nursing required
  • 3 years relevant clinical experience to delegated practice setting
  • 2 years of experience in professional development, precepting, or instructing nurses
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant platforms
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure in the state of Minnesota required
  • Demonstrated good judgment and critical thinking skills when handling a variety of procedural and technical tasks with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required
  • Leadership skills including the ability to problem solve, communicate clearly, provide support, self-directed and accountable, prioritizes and is organized, and shows initiative
  • Experience working with a variety of medical equipment
  • Professional membership preferred
