Nursing Manager

Salary: $90,000+ a year

Location: Newark, DE

What You’ll Do

• Update and implement policies and procedures in compliance with DDDS and regulatory standards
• Supervise, train, and support nursing staff (RNs and LPNs)
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, assessments, and required documentation
• Monitor health services, including medication management, audits, and incident reporting
• Conduct regular staff meetings, trainings, and performance feedback
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and ongoing care planning
• Communicate with families, agencies, and internal teams
• Respond to medical concerns, provide triage as needed, and report serious issues
• Maintain records, confidentiality (HIPAA), and required certifications
• Serve as liaison with external partners and support team participation

What You Bring

• Graduation from an approved nursing school
• 2+ years of relevant experience required, preferably working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• 2-5+ years of administrative experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware or another compact state.
• Valid certification in CPR/FA.
