The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking a Nursing Intern to join our Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. This opportunity is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing or Med Surg course.
You will provide care to inpatients and outpatients post Cath and EP Lab procedures as well as other cardiac diagnoses, conditions and treatment plans. This unit also specializes in care of stepdown patients, specifically those with acute respiratory needs. This is a fast-paced progressive care unit that specializes in cardiac and acute respiratory patient care.
