Job Description

Dr Reddy’s Foundation (DRF) is a not-for-profit organization set up in 1996 to enable socially and economically vulnerable groups to take control of their lives. We develop and test innovative solutions to address complex social problems and promote scaling up of impact by leveraging partnerships. We work with Children, Youth (including Persons with Disabilities) Women and Households across 20 States in India

The KARV School have introduced two vocational courses – [1] General Duty Assistant (for class 8th & 9th) and [2] Soft Skills (for class 10th) as per National Education Policy focus.

The GDA Teacher for Class 8th and 9th is responsible for fostering the development of GDA knowledge and basic skills among the students. The teacher will work with children/youth from lower-middle-class backgrounds, aiming to improve their vocational skills (GDA).

  • Improve GDA knowledge and skills among students of 8th and 9th Std as per National occupation standards curriculum.
  • Develop course content and assessments as prescribed in consultation with Learning & Development department of Dr. Reddy’s Foundation
  • Conduct assessments as prescribed and publish the monthly progress reports.
  • Maintain attendance and syllabus completion reports in the formats provided

Accept any responsibility and take complete accountability as and when any other responsibility is assigned by the management

Qualifications

Any graduation.

B.Ed will be an added advantage

Skill sector counsel Certification (GDA)

  • Proficient in utilizing technology and instructional tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver engaging lessons effectively.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to continuously learn and improve instructional practices.

Min one year experience as GDA trainer in any of the skilling agencies.
