As part of the school's management team, the Nursing Education Clinical Supervisoris responsible for coordinating operations of the nursing program's clinical education. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical scheduling, student and faculty clinical compliance, clinical site relationships and contracts, and clinical logistics, and ensure full compliance with all government, accreditation, and company policiesThe Clinical Supervisor supports student success by promoting a positive clinical learning environment and ensuring efficient coordination of all clinical activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day operational coordination and support to clinical instructors during clinical experiences. Formal performance evaluations and employment decisions remain the responsibility of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates clinical education activities for the nursing program
- Obtains clinical sites including site specific contracts as indicated by the corporate contract process
- Develops and maintainspositive working relationships with current and new clinical affiliates
- Serves as the primary liaison between the nursing program and clinical partners regarding scheduling, student placement, and operational issues.
- Ensures appropriate clinical instructor coverage and arranges replacements when necessary
- Coordinates laboratory scheduling and operational support in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and nursing faculty
- Coordinates clinical schedules for faculty and students
- Conducts clinical site visits to evaluate clinical learning environments, maintain relationships with clinical partners, and ensure compliance with clinical site requirements. Reviews findings with faculty, clinical site representatives, and the Director of Nursing, as appropriate
- Supports and enforces school and clinical site policies and procedures; advises and supports instructors as needed
- Assists with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, scheduling, and mentoring of clinical faculty
- Ensures students receive orientation and ongoing communication regarding clinical site policies, procedures, and expectations
- Monitors student attendance, completion of clinical requirements, and participation in clinical rotations while collaborating with faculty and the Director of Nursing regarding student clinical concerns, remediation, and progression.
- Ensures students meet all clinical participation requirements including health records, CPR certification, drug screening, background checks, and other clinical compliance requirements
- Participates in nursing department meetings and assists with accreditation, regulatory, and quality improvement activities as assigned by the Director of Nursing

- Current driver's license
Education and Experience
- Current unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
- Minimum three years of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment that requires normal safety precautions. The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy items up to 25 pounds. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities.
