Core Requirement: 4 to 5-day work week. Must include a 12-hour Wednesday shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) and at least one weekend day per week (or alternating full weekend shifts).
Remaining Days: Flexible / determined by applicant availability and program operational needs.
The Nursing Department Coordinator is responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising nursing staff while ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care. Supports the development and implementation of nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, and provides direct nursing services as needed. Assists with recruitment and staffing recommendations, oversees nursing schedules and on-call coverage, and ensures accurate and timely medical record documentation. Contributes to medication management controls and infection prevention efforts, including identifying risks and recommending corrective actions. Provides crisis intervention support, facilitates departmental meetings, participates in leadership and program meetings, and serves in the leadership on-call rotation.
