Job Description: POSITION: Part-Time Nursing Clinical Instructors (Clinical Instructor): Nursing Department, Division of Health Professions; Lawrence Campus (414 Common Street); up to 16 hours per week; MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position.SUMMARY: We are accepting applications for our Nursing Clinical Instructor pool to supervise clinical experience for up to 6 students for 8-16 hours per week on an as needed basis for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond. Their duties include, but may not be limited to, providing clinical instruction that coordinates with theoretical content and achieves course objectives. Clinical Instructor will engage in a critical role in the teaching and learning process as a member of the nursing team, contributing to student success.Please note: Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment.REPORTS TO: Associate Dean of NursingSCHEDULE: Clinical Opportunities 1-2 days or evenings per week; Monday through FridayRESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare clinical assignments prior to clinical learning experienceInstruct and Supervise nursing students in the clinical settingInstruct and Supervise nursing students with virtual clinical simulation to support the achievement of student learner outcomes when clinical agency is unavailableEvaluate student learning assignments and provide constructive feedbackComplete formative and summative student evaluationsCommunicate with Course Team Leader on a weekly basis regarding student issuesPerform other duties associated with the position.
