Join our team at the El Valle Detention Facility in Raymondville, Texas.

Essential Functions:

1. Receive and maintain medical supplies and store properly. Provide accurate documentation and inventory.
2. Enter prescription information into log: create labels and Medication Administration Records.
3. Ensure medical supply cart, trauma bag, the PPE room, and the facility first aid kits are fully and accurately stocked at all times.
4. Assist with maintenance of the Sick Call, Chronic Clinic and Specialty Logs.
5. Assist with intake of new detainee arrivals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• May be a Nurse Assistant/Aide or Medical Assistant with appropriate certification or permit.
• One year of experience in a hospital, clinic or correctional setting preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in word processing and computer data entry.
• Must hold current CPR certification. A valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
