What You'll Do

As a Nursing Assistant, you'll play an important role in providing safe, compassionate care and helping patients feel comfortable and supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care
  • Take and document vital signs and participate in hourly rounding
  • Respond to patient call lights and help maintain patient comfort and safety
  • Assist with meals, tray setup, feeding, and nutritional needs
  • Help patients with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
  • Assist with physical and occupational therapy activities as directed
  • Observe patients and report changes in their physical or emotional condition to the nursing team
  • Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Accurately document care according to hospital policies
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming patient environment

The Nursing Assistant provides essential support in delivering safe, quality patient care while working under the direction of nursing leadership and registered nurses.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Willingness and ability to float to different hospital units based on health system needs

Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
