Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

As a member of the Float Pool, you'll have the opportunity to support different patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs.

• 💼 Status: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
• 🔄 Work Environment: Float Pool | Supports multiple patient care areas based on staffing needs
• 🤝 Role Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment

Qualifications

🎓 Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred

📋 Experience, Licensure & Certification

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience, OR
• Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

Additionally:

• BLS required
