Overview

Make every interaction count in the care of our cardiac patients. Join the CFH Cardiac Medical Unit as a Nursing Assistant and provide the hands-on support, comfort and compassionate care that helps patients throughout their hospital stay.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

• 🏥 Department: CFH Cardiac Medical Unit
• ☀️ Shift: Days
• 🕒 Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Variable days of the week
• 💼 Status: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
• 🤝 Role Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment

Qualifications

🎓 Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-high school specialized training preferred

📋 Licensure & Certification

• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• BLS required
