The role

As Room Leader, you'll take ownership of your room day to day. You'll shape the children's experiences, guide and develop your team, and build warm, trusting relationships with families. You'll have the freedom to bring your ideas to life, with the backing of a supportive nursery management team. •

Your day will include:

⭐ Leading your room with confidence, modelling great practice and setting high standards

• ️ Putting children's safety, wellbeing and happiness first in everything you do
• Planning and delivering a fun, action-packed day of activities in line with the EYFS
• Supporting and coaching your team so planning, observations and milestones are consistently excellent
• ‍•‍• Building positive, open relationships with parents and carers so they feel part of their child's journey
• Creating calm, sociable and positive mealtime experiences
• Helping build a happy, collaborative culture where everyone feels part of the team

What you'll bring

• A full and relevant Level 3 (or above) early years qualification
• Experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years
• A real passion for delivering high-quality care and early education
• Strong communication skills, with parents, colleagues and children alike
• A natural team player who enjoys supporting and motivating others
• Experience leading or supervising a room or team
