  • Hours: Part time, 17 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, afternoons only, 12.15 pm to 3 pm, Monday to Friday)

Orford C of E Primary School are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner with experience working with children under 5 to join our team at our small nursery based at Orford Primary School. Our nursery attracts children from surrounding villages and further afield. We are delighted that during the summer, our EYFS outdoor area will be completely refurbished, making this an exciting opportunity to develop our provision.

We need someone who can:

  • build warm, trusting relationships with very young children
  • create a safe, calm and nurturing environment
  • support children’s emotional development, independence and early routines.

A practitioner who believes:

  • every child can reach their full potential
  • in developing a curiosity, independence and a love of learning
  • in curiosity about the world
  • an inclusive approach that recognises the potential of children with SEND, EAL or disadvantaged backgrounds
  • a practitioner who can create stimulating, inclusive learning experiences.
