Orford Primary School are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner with experience working with children under 5 to join our team.

Our small nursery is based at Orford Primary School, with children attending from several surrounding villages. This role is more than just providing high-quality care; it's about making a meaningful impact on each child's individual needs and development. You will assist in the provision of the children's care, safety and learning and it is essential that you are committed to the happiness, well-being, safeguarding, self-esteem and progress of every child.

You will:

  • build warm, trusting relationships with very young children
  • create a safe, calm and nurturing environment
  • support children's emotional development, independence and early routines.

A practitioner who believes:

  • every child can reach their full potential
  • in developing a curiosity, independence and a love of learning
  • in curiosity about the world
  • an inclusive approach that recognises the potential of children with SEND, EAL or disadvantaged backgrounds
  • a practitioner who can create stimulating, inclusive learning experiences.
