Pitstop Nursery is looking for a Nursery Manager who has a passion for working with babies and young children, helping them to flourish in a fun, friendly and caring environment. You will be a motivated and committed member of the team who is happy to get stuck in to all aspects of nursery life, while demonstrating excellent leadership and knowledge.
Your responsibilities
Responsibilities will include staff management, daily management of setting, activity planning, social media posts, communicating with parents and organisations, being responsible for key children and supporting families. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all statutory, legal and setting obligations are followed and met.
You will need:
a full and relevant level 3 qualification or above in childcare or equivalent
at least 2 years’ experience in Early Years and have experience in a managerial/supervisory role
robust knowledge of the EYFS
extensive knowledge of safeguarding
excellent organisation and communication skills
the ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
the ability to manage your own time and prioritise tasks
proven IT skills.
