Banana Moon Day Nursery in Hatton is seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team, offering a competitive pay rate of £16-£17 per hour. This role is perfect for someone committed to providing high-quality early years care and education in a supportive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead your designated room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework through effective planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
• Support and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and ambitious approach to childcare and learning.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
• Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Clear Enhanced DBS certificate with subscription to the Update Service
• Experience within a nursery setting and ambition for career progression.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passion for working with young children and promoting their development.
