Our Pippa's House Day Nursery in Ash Vale is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Hours: (Mon-Fri) 9am-3pm = 30 hours per week

About our nursery

Our nursery offers a vibrant and engaging environment where children thrive through a mix of outdoor exploration, creative play and hands-on learning. The nursery is also easily accessible, with excellent transport links including nearby train services and local bus routes connecting to surrounding areas.

• Ash Vale train station nearby with direct links to London Waterloo
• Local bus routes connecting Aldershot, Farnborough, Guildford and surrounding areas

What will you be doing

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
• Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
• Supervise and support children at all times
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
