About the Nursery

Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Soundwell is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team.

We provide a welcoming and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and develop through play. With dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers and preschool children, beautiful gardens and a sensory room, our nursery offers an exciting place to work and make a difference.

We follow the EYFS framework and embrace the Curiosity Approach, encouraging children to develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the team in providing high-quality care and education for children
• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Support children's learning and development through play and engaging activities
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and activities
• Encourage children's independence, confidence and wellbeing
• Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure children's safety is always a priority
• Work as part of a supportive team to maintain high standards within the nursery

What We're Looking For

• A caring, positive and enthusiastic approach
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to learn and develop within Early Years
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
• Early Years experience or a childcare qualification would be an advantage
