Experienced hospital nurse in Germany looking for a role with no night shifts and more autonomy?
As a Near Patient Nurse, you will continue to apply your clinical expertise in a structured, patient-focused environment, with improved work–life balance and international collaboration.
Supporting the TRICARE Overseas Program, you will ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients within the German healthcare system.
Your Responsibilities:
You will act as a clinical link between local healthcare providers and international medical teams, ensuring quality, continuity, and patient-centred care:-
-Clinical Case Management
Monitor and support inpatient care throughout the hospital stay
Ensure clinical quality and patient safety standards
Produce structured, accurate medical reports in English
-Communication and Coordination
Liaise directly with physicians and nursing teams in German hospitals
Provide clear clinical updates to international stakeholders
Coordinate safe discharge and continuity of care
-Patient Advocacy and Support
Support patients in understanding their diagnosis and treatment
Act as an intermediary between patients and healthcare providers
Support patients in navigating and understanding the German healthcare system.
Provide bilingual support (German/English)
-Quality Assurance and Network Collaboration
Build and maintain professional relationships with providers
Support provider reviews and quality assessments
Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards
Your Profile
Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger) with minimum 3 years’ bedside experience in a hospital (inpatient care / stationäre Akutpflege essential)
Active registration to practice in Germany
Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level in both)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Structured, accountable, and able to work independently
Confident with digital systems and documentation
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Working Model
Hybrid role combining hospital visits and remote work
Shift-based schedule with forward planning
07:00 – 20:00 Monday – Friday (shifts within these hours)
No night shifts and no on-call requirements
Rotational weekend work (significantly reduced compared to hospital roles)
