The NUM will provide leadership and management and is responsible for all resources pertaining to people, equipment and ensuring that patient care is of a high quality standard.
This is an exciting time to join the Perioperative Services at Werribee Mercy Hospital, in a newly restructured management model for both the operating and sterilizing departments. This key position will support surgery recovery and reform working collaboratively to deliver a quality service in line with industry standards.
Relocating to Level 3 of the Catherine McAuley Building in August 2018, the Operating Theatre Complex is a bright and modern department which has 6 operating theatres and 12 Stage 1 Recovery bays. A fully electronic patient tracking system (T-DOC) which includes endoscopy services has been implemented across the perioperative services.
