How you'll contribute

A Nurse Technician who excels in this role:

• Provides basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Monitors and records vital signs, intake and output, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings.
• Maintains patient rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Supports nursing and physician staff with patient care activities and unit workflow.
• Manages tech desk operations and assists with maintaining efficient department throughput.
• Documents patient care and activities in accordance with hospital and unit standards.
• Participates in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Education
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure
• State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred.
• Certifications
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

As a Nurse Tech on our Med Surg and Inpatient Rehabilitation units, you'll play an essential role in helping patients recover, regain independence, and achieve their health goals. Working alongside nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, you'll provide hands-on patient care while building valuable clinical skills in a supportive environment.
