
A Nurse Technician is a student nurse, after at least one year of schooling in an ADN program or after three years in a BSN program, who performs duties based on completed nursing education under direct supervision of a registered nurse preceptor. Applies the nursing process to maximize the health status of the patients of Tamarack Health Ashland Medical Center, within the parameters of hospital policy and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
