Akron General’s 5100 Unit is a 23-bed post-op urology, gynecology/oncology and plastics unit that provides care to diverse populations of patients. This team of caregivers pride themselves on providing top-quality and patient-centered care all while ensuring the safety of their patients. As a Nurse Technician on the team, you play a valuable part in our dynamic team of caregivers, working alongside your fellow RNs, physicians and other staff to enhance the patient experience and create the environment our patients have come to expect. You will assist with necessary nursing tasks, such as completing safety rounds, answering call lights and checking and documenting vitals. This position is also an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and explore different roles throughout the Cleveland Clinic institution.
A PRN caregiver in this position works varying days and hours. You must work a minimum of 64 hours in the summer. There is no minimum hours required during the school year.
