Nurse Technician – Nursing (Nason)

Job Type: Full-time | 3x12-hour shifts + varied scheduling | Rotating weekends and holidays

Schedule: Update based on position/department schedule

Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates

As a Nurse Technician, you will work alongside registered nurses and other members of the healthcare team to provide direct patient care and support the daily needs, comfort, and safety of our patients.

This position is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while developing valuable skills in a hospital setting.

How you’ll contribute

A Nurse Technician who excels in this role:

  • Provides basic patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Obtains and records vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other patient information as directed.
  • Assists with positioning, transferring, and transporting patients safely.
  • Responds to patient call lights and assists with patient comfort and safety needs.
  • Helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
  • Observes patients and promptly reports changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
  • Assists nursing staff with procedures and other patient care activities within the scope of the role.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and follows hospital safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have an interest in providing direct patient care in a hospital environment. Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform patient care duties under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
  • Previous healthcare or patient care experience is preferred.
  • Additional certifications, education, or training may be required based on department and position requirements.
