Week 1: Thursday and Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
The Discharge Lounge is a newly renovated space for patients to go prior to leaving the hospital. Our team will collaborate with the nursing teams to determine appropriate patients, transport them down to the Lounge after their discharge instructions are completed, help with any needs while in the Lounge and then bring the patient out to their transportation. The Discharge Lounge focuses mostly on adult patients but occasionally does receive pediatric patients as well.
