The Supervisor is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. Provides direct supervision, promotes quality care for all patients, and evaluates processes, policies and procedures in accordance with standards of practice. The Supervisors will need to be aware of computer programs that are used to allow for documentation and audits of medical records. Demonstrates effective communication and organization skills. Knowledge of performance Improvement/Risk Management skills. Demonstrates the ability to deal constructively with conflict and take appropriate initial action. Requires a high degree of initiative and ability to plan, adapt, and make decisions. Must have positive interest, motivation, professional assertiveness flexibility, ability to establish rapport with others and be subject to change.
