You can join this nationwide network through Southwest Kidney Institute, which is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join their team. This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels, though those with dialysis or nephrology experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience.
Hiring Package:
• Competitive salary, plus potential for productivity bonuses

Schedule/ Practice Details:
• Clinic Coverage (Monday-Friday)
• Dialysis Unit Coverage (Monday-Friday)
• No weekend call coverage is expected
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree program in nursing with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
