Hiring Range:

$119,912.00 - $152,131.20

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule: Full-time (40-hours), 8 clinical sessions per week: 6 in-person clinical sessions, 2 virtual/remote clinical sessions, and 2 administrative sessions that may be completed remotely or in person

UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness system in Central Massachusetts, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Metabolic Weight Loss team at UMass Memorial Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, supportive team providing comprehensive obesity care to adolescent and adult patients ages 12 and older.

This is a mixed adolescent and adult practice, and we are specifically seeking an APP with clinical experience caring for both adolescents (age 12+) and adults affected by obesity. The APP will work alongside three physicians, an obesity medicine fellow, and two other APPs in a team-based environment focused on evidence-based, compassionate, and longitudinal care.

Key Highlights

• Mixed Adolescent & Adult Practice: Provide obesity medicine care to patients ages 12 and older, including both adolescents and adults
• Collaborative Team: Work alongside 3 physicians, 1 obesity medicine fellow, and 2 experienced APPs
• Comprehensive Obesity Care: Evaluate and manage patients affected by obesity through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and longitudinal follow-up

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current NP or PA certification
• Eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
• Clinical experience in a medical, endocrinology, or obesity medicine practice
• Experience caring for both adolescents age 12 and older and adults
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
