Schedule: Two days a week preferred, approximately 12-16 hours per week.
The Nurse Practitioner provides general medical care and treatment to Grafton’s client population (children, adolescents, and adults) under supervising authority of a physician. Assesses the physical/emotional needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and psychiatric conditions. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment. Supports provision of a therapeutic milieu by working in collaboration with academic and residential administrators. Provides direct services as defined in the scope of practice that pertains to his/her license. Spends 80% of work hours providing direct billable services, such as physical examinations, same-day sick client visits, etc. Reports to Executive Director administratively. Practices under supervising physician.
