Essential Functions
Education/Training MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required or Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
Licensure/Certification Maintain current physician assistant licensure or Florida ARNP License in State of Florida. If a Physician Assistant : Maintains NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
If a Nurse Practitioner : Maintains national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board. Maintains BLS certification. Maintains ACLS, NRP, PALS certification as required by department.
Experience
newly graduated and boarded in Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care OR
Have three years of cardiology practice and a letter of attestation from a board certified cardiologist confirming competency.
