We are looking for a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support medical and safety efforts at a large scale construction site located in Boise, ID. This project is anticipated to last multiple years with exact timing to be determined by client requirements.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide health care services to patients and as needed to support medical and safety efforts at site.
This is a per diem position that has the potential to transition to part-time in the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Idaho with national certification in the state applying to.
Must have unrestricted DEA license.
Current ACLS/BLS certifications .
A minimum of 3 years advanced practice experience with prior occupational medicine preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
The ability to make independent decisions in accordance to company policy and procedures.
Take initiative on issues that arise daily.
Able to manage multiple priorities.
Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job-demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations.
Computer Skills
Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, &Teams) and learn other software (example: SAP, Cority, etc.) as needed.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
Some bending and stretching could be required.
Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Require daily walk to & from parking lot to clinic.
May drive emergency vehicle within the site when responding to an incident.
Work Environment
Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
The noise level is usually moderate.
Air quality is good, and temperature is controlled.
Clinic is located within the protected/regulated area
Final compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
